Dear Editor,
In a time of threats, theft of our national resources and risks not only to our national security but our personal lives, Senator Bennet is stepping up. Last week’s confirmation hearings of Russian sympathizer Tulsi Gabbard and anti-vax huckster Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. were not only a soulful disgrace to anyone in witness, but a genuine threat to our safety and health.
No matter the party affiliation.
Senator Bennet’s inquiry into the proven mendacity and covert character of both these nominees is deeply appreciated by all who believe in the right to live and live well in our United States. Calling people on their past acts, behavior and ways of being that will manifest, should they land in positions of great power, is something desperately needed in our culture of lies and division.
Thank you, Senator Bennet and his devoted staff. They welcome our calls to receive feedback (970-224-2200), concerns and questions, all in the interest of serving democracy, not the special interests of those intent on taking it away.
In gratitude,
Denise Boehler, M.A., Writer, Ecopsychologist
