Dear Editor,
I want to express appreciation to the voters of the County, the volunteers who worked so hard on the election, the candidates who campaigned so diligently, and to the Clerk and Recorder, Sahari McCormick, who ran a flawless election under extreme pressure from those who have been questioning the fairness of our election system.
It appears the voters of Gilpin County, of Colorado, and much of the rest of the country are tired of the extremism that has been dividing the country.
Hopefully going forward, we can come together and work to unite the country again.
Thank you!
Eric Douglas
Chair, Gilpin County Democrats
