On Wednesday, July 7, Governor Jared Polis signed HB21-1292, Reporting of Sports Betting Revenue, at the Evergreen Fire Station. The bill requires aggregation of data from the three Colorado cities where sports betting is legal. Casino and sports betting revenues represent tangible elements of real property value. This bill will enable the Gilpin County Assessor, Anne Schafer, and the Teller County Assessor, Colt Simmons, to properly value the real property located in each of those counties.
