After wandering by the rock garden for the last few years, Wild Bear took proactive steps to come up with a better way to make people want to stop and look around.
Wild Bear offered this information about the project.
“A giant THANK YOU to our friends at @google who volunteered their time to help us plant pollinator- friendly gardens in two separate areas outside of our interim Nature Center that were previously unused and not serving a purpose.”
“They knocked out these projects in one afternoon and our little corner of Nederland is more beautiful (and environmentally friendly) for it!”
“If you are curious about volunteering at Wild Bear, we could use help with many projects and work at the nature center! Check out our ‘Get Involved’ page for more info at https://wildbear.org/get-involved.”
Wild Bear is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, inspiring a lifelong connection to nature and community through creative exploration of the outdoors.
