On 12/1/19, a deputy contacted a suspicious vehicle in the parking lots.  A male was later arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail for protection order violations.

On 12/1/19, a deputy conducted a welfare check on a male party who was parked in a vehicle located on the Central City Parkway. The same individual was later issued a summons for not having a valid driver’s license.    

On 12/1/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was arrested for felony DUI, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked as a habitual traffic offender and numerous other charges.

On 12/2/19, a deputy was on duty at the Gilpin County Jail when they were advised of a remand in the court lobby. The remand was a female party that had two active warrants for her arrest. The deputy then cleared the party with GCSO Communications. The party was then arrested on two warrants and processed into the jail with no issues.

On 12/3/19, a deputy responded to a residence on a report of a cold burglary. The deputy documented the scene and completed a report for the items taken from the property.

On 12/3/19, a deputy responded to the Century Casino on the report of a disturbance. A male party involved was later found to be in possession of a handgun which was discharged. The same party was later taken into custody for various weapons related charges without further incident.

On 12/4/19, deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Central City. The vehicle attempted to elude deputies. The suspect rammed a deputy’s patrol vehicle and the suspect was arrested for multiple charges. A report was later completed.

On 12/4/19, an off-duty deputy reported a traffic complaint of a vehicle failing to maintain their lane. An on-duty deputy responded and conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle. The driver was issued a penalty assessment for weaving.

On 12/4/19, a Gilpin County Detentions Deputy had brought a female to the Gilpin County Jail on a transport from Jefferson County Jail on a local warrant. The female also had an out of state warrant. The female was booked into the Gilpin Jail without any incident.

On 12/5/19, a deputy was dispatched to mile marker 21.5 on Highway 119, Gilpin County, Rollinsville, regarding a report of an injured cow elk. The elk was euthanized, and a case report was completed.

On 12/5/19, a deputy responded to a casino on a report of a counterfeit bill. The deputy spoke with the individual and determined the party did not know the bill was counterfeit. The bill was seized and later booked into evidence.

On 12/6/19, a male party was arrested on a warrant from Gilpin County in the lobby at 2960 Dory Hill Road, unincorporated Gilpin County. Bond was set at $500 cash.  

On 12/6/19, a male party was contacted in the 800 block of Highpoint Circle unincorporated Gilpin County. The male party was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant, and processed into the Gilpin County Jail. A report was completed.

On 12/7/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was later arrested for DUI.

On 12/7/19, a deputy responded to the parking lot of the Gold Mountain Village Apartments, Central City, on the report of a suspicious party siphoning gas out of a pickup truck.

On 12/8/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was issued a summons for a traffic offense and a passenger was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding warrant.

On 12/8/19, multiple units with the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office (GCSO), Gilpin Ambulance Authority, Colorado State Patrol`s Gaming Troop (CSP) and Black Hawk Police Department responded to the report of a knife assault occurring on an outbound casino bus south of Black Hawk. On arrival they found one stabbing victim and witnesses said the suspect had fled across the creek. The victim was transported to the hospital and officers began to search the area. The suspect was identified and three hours later located and taken into custody.  

On 12/10/19, Gilpin deputies responded to the Gilpin School for two male adults fighting in the parking lot. The males had no injuries and declined to pursue charges. The males were requested to stay off school property.

On 12/10/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop within Central City. An investigation was completed, and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest for violation of a protection order, suspicion of DUI and various other traffic related charges.   

On 12/11/19, a deputy located an abandoned vehicle in the Big T parking lot located at the intersection of Spring Street and Bridge Street in Central City. A ticket was issued and a report was completed.

 

On 12/11/19, a deputy responded to the lobby of the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office for a male party turning himself in on a warrant. The male party was arrested on a Gilpin County Warrant and was booked into the Gilpin County Jail without incident.

On 12/12/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Central City. The driver was issued a summons for a traffic violation and a report was later completed.

On 12/13/19, a male party was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear out of Adams County. Bond was set at $2500 cash surety per the warrant.

On 12/13/19, a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino on a report of a theft of a cell phone. A suspect was located and issued a summons. A report was later completed.

On 12/14/19, a Gilpin County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of 321 Gregory Street, Central City, on the report of a motor vehicle accident. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.

On 12/14/19, a deputy responded to the intersection of Bridge Street and Main Street in Central City, on a report of a non-injury motor vehicle accident. A case report was later filed.

On 12/15/19 a deputy took a phone call regarding a cold burglary.  An investigation is in progress.  

On 12/17/19, a female party was found in possession of what was believed to be fraudulent checks. Case is pending further investigation.

On 12/18/19, a person arrived at the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office to turn himself in on an active, valid warrant. The person was arrested and brought to the Gilpin County Detention Facility for processing.

On 12/20/19, a deputy checked on the welfare of a vehicle in the 4400 block of Highway 46 in unincorporated Black Hawk. A case report was later completed.

On 12/20/19, a male subject arrived for court ordered prints and found to be in possession of a driver license which had a suspended status. The subject was issued a proof of service and released.

On 12/20/19, a deputy at the Gilpin County Detention Center was in the process of booking in an inmate that came into the jail from a transport. It was discovered that the inmate had four active warrants for their arrest. The inmate was booked into the jail according to policy and procedure.

On 12/20/19, a deputy found damage to his patrol vehicle that was not there previously. A case report was later completed.

On 12/21/19, Gilpin County deputies, and Ambulance Service responded to Fox Drive, unincorporated Gilpin County, on a report of a medical incident. A case report was completed.

On 12/21/19, a deputy responded to mile marker 3 on Highway 119 to cover Colorado State Patrol on a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.  

On 12/22/19, a deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver had a warrant for their arrest and was booked into the Gilpin County Jail. 

 

On 12/22/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was arrested for felony DUI, attempt to influence a public servant, criminal possession of an identification document, drove vehicle when license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, felony warrant out of the Colorado Department of Corrections and a felony warrant out of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was booked into Gilpin Jail.  

On 12/23/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop within the parking lot of the Red Dolly casino. A brief DUI investigation was completed and the driver was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.   

On 12/23/19, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Central City. The driver was issued a summons for a traffic violation and a report was later completed.

On 12/26/19, Timberline Fire, ambulance and deputies responded to a structure fire in unincorporated Gilpin County. The residence was vacant and fire was contained. There were no injuries.

On 12/26/19, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Gregory Street on a report of theft. A subject was arrested and a report was later completed.

On 12/27/19, a deputy took a report of a counterfeit bill from the Grand Z Casino.   

On 12/27/19, a deputy responded to a report of criminal mischief where someone had broken out windows on a building. The scene was documented and a case report was completed.  

On 12/28/19, deputies responded to an in-progress disturbance off Blue Spruce Road. Several underage parties were issued summons for consumption of alcohol and one party was arrested.

On 12/29/19, a deputy responded to the Grand Z Casino, on the report of a male party who had previously been trespassed from the casino. The male party was later arrested. 

On 12/30/19, a Gilpin deputy stopped a vehicle for no brake light. The male driver smelled of the odor of alcohol. The driver did not complete the voluntary roadside as a sober person would. The driver was transported to the jail and was found to be under the legal limit. The driver was released back to his vehicle. Driver was issued a warning for the open container of alcohol.

On 12/31/19, a Gilpin deputy took a report of a dog issue in the Dory Lakes subdivision.

On 12/31/19, a party backed into a marked Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office marked patrol truck at the Z Stop located in unincorporated Gilpin County. The Colorado State Patrol responded and took a report.

January 2020

On 01/1/20 at approximately 10:20 a.m., a deputy responded to a casino in Black Hawk to assist the Black Hawk Police Department with an unwanted party at the casino. During the contact the party became agitated and would not cooperate with orders given by officers and the deputy. The party was tased and taken into custody. The party was medically checked on scene by members of the Gilpin Ambulance Authority. The party was later issued a summons to appear in court and released due to an unrelated medical issue. 

On 1/2/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was issued a summons for no insurance and using fictitious license plates.

On 1/3/20, at approximately 9:26 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy was attempting to conduct a traffic stop at mile post 6.8 on the Central City Parkway. The vehicle failed to yield to the deputy for a short distance. The vehicle was finally stopped in the Central City Post Office. The driver was issued a summons and released.  

On 1/3/20, a deputy took a report of criminal mischief at a residence in the county.   

On 1/3/20, a deputy received a traffic complaint of a party disregarding a flagger`s “STOP” sign in a construction zone. The deputy was able to locate the party who did not stop prior to speaking with the reporting party. The deputy took the suspect`s statement and released them pending the outcome of the investigation. The deputy completed the investigation and the suspect will be contacted at a later time and issued a penalty assessment for the violation.

On 1/4/20, a deputy issued a proof of service to a party with a suspended driver’s license. 

 

On 1/5/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on north Highway 119. The driver was arrested for his 13th DUI.

On 1/5/20, a female turned herself into the Gilpin County Jail on a warrant. She was booked into the Gilpin County Jail according to policy and procedure.   

On 1/6/20, a deputy contacted a suspicious vehicle in the Z-Stop Gas Station parking lot. A female was arrested for one felony warrant, one misdemeanor warrant, criminal impersonation and criminal possession of an identification document.

On 1/6/20, a deputy was dispatched to the 100 Block of Main Street in Central City, for a report of counterfeit money. A report was completed.

On 1/7/20, a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on south Highway119 on a vehicle traveling 75 MPH in a posted 45 MPH zone. The vehicle initially stopped, but when the deputy approached the vehicle, the driver eluded and almost struck the deputy. A vehicle pursuit ensued southbound Highway 119 on eastbound Highway 6, where the vehicle crashed into the mountain. The driver was admitted into the hospital for his injuries and will be facing numerous criminal charges.  

On 1/8/20, a deputy responded to a possible criminal mischief on Lawrence Street. A female party was found to have trespassed into a shed and barricaded herself inside. The female party was extracted from the shed and arrested. A report was later completed.

On 1/8/20, a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino, Central City, on the report of a theft. A report was taken.

On 1/10/20, at approximately 11:07 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop near mile marker 1.3 on Highway 119. The driver was issued a summons for displaying a fictitious temporary registration.

On 1/12/20, a deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Nevada Street in Central City on a report of a theft. A case report was later completed.

On 1/13/20, at approximately 12:27 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino, on a report of found drugs. A case report was completed.

 

On 1/13/20, a male party turned himself in on an out of county warrant. The warrant is out of Adams County for failure to appear for driving under restraint and speeding. The male party was booked into the Gilpin County Jail and posted his bond without incident.

On 1/14/20, at approximately 2:07 a.m., on an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in custody at the Gilpin County Detention Facility. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.  

On 1/14/20, at approximately 3:10 p.m.,, a deputy responded to a 911 investigation possibly involving a theft. While investigating the incident the deputy learned that the suspect had driven away from the area with a dog which both parties claimed to own. The suspect was later contacted and issued a summons for traffic violations, and the issue with the dog was resolved.

On 1/14/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway.The driver was issued a summons for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

On 1/15/20, at approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to a reported disturbance. Upon arrival the deputies met with the reporting party who wanted the person causing the disturbance removed from the property. The deputies contacted the unwanted person and during the contact found drug paraphernalia the party was attempting to conceal. The party was taken into protective custody and during a search controlled substances were found in the person’s pocket. The person was released to an ambulance for an emergency mental health hold and an affidavit for an arrest warrant for the person was completed.

On 1/16/20, a deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding. The passenger was found to have a cancelled driver’s license which was confiscated. A report was filed.

On 1/16/20, a Gilpin County Patrol Deputy was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in damage to county property.

On 1/17/20, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a deputy responded to the Dostal Alley parking lot, on the report of a trespass.  A party was issued a criminal summons for third degree trespass.

On 1/17/20, a deputy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was found to be under suspension. A summons was issued.

On 1/17/20, a Gilpin County Deputy was dispatched to the Century Casino, on the call of a civil dispute issue. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.

On 1/18/20, at approximately 0915 hours, a Deputy took a report of possible theft which occurred at the Grand Z Casino. After further investigation, it was determined there was no theft. 

On 1/18/20, a deputy responded to Dakota Ridge Road, unincorporated Clear Creek County,, to cover Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office with a call for service. Upon arrival a male party was found to have a warrant out of Gilpin County.  The male was taken to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 1/19/20, a deputy responded to a possible harassment call in the 800 block of Russell Gulch Road, Gilpin County.. A report was later completed.

On 1/19/20, at 3:35 p.m.,, a party who was at the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office to visit an inmate was found to have a driver`s license that was cancelled/denied. The party`s Colorado Driver License was confiscated, and they were issued a proof of service.

On 1/19/20, at approximately 6:14 a.m, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Missouri Gulch Road, unincorporated Gilpin County, on a report of a suspicious male party, parked in a running vehicle, in the middle of the roadway. After further investigation, the male party was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both.   

On 1/20/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was issued a summons for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

On 1/20/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Spring Street. The driver was arrested for DUI.

On 1/22/20, at approximately 1:18 p.m., an investigator took a report of a theft of a cellular phone that occurred in a casino two days prior. An investigation was begun, suspects identified, and felony arrest warrants applied for. 

On 1/22/20, at approximately 8:38 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino, on a welfare check. A party was transported to Lutheran Hospital on an emergency mental health hold and suspected drugs were seized.

On 1/23/20, at approximately 5:04 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to call a party regarding a fraudulent line of credit being opened. A report was taken.

On 1/23/20, a Gilpin County deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be under suspension. A summons was issued and a report taken.

On 1/24/20, at approximately 12:35 p.m., a deputy responded to a casino in Central City on a report of a counterfeit bill. The deputy spoke with the party who was in possession of the bill and determined the party had unknowingly been given the bill as change. The bill was confiscated to be turned into the US Secret Service and a report was completed.

On 1/25/20, a deputy stopped a motor vehicle for vision obstructed through required glass. The driver was issued a summons for traffic infractions.

On 1/25/20, a deputy responded to a residence on Hwy 46. It was reported that a family member stole approximately $8,000.00 in jewelry from the house. The case is still under investigation.  

On 1/26/20, a deputy received a call regarding a person cutting limbs off of trees along an easement.  A report was taken.

On 1/26/20, a deputy took a criminal mischief report regarding damage to a gate. Case is pending further investigative leads.  

On 1/28/20, at 2:05 p.m., a male party was arrested at the Gilpin County Justice Center. He was taken into custody and booked in then bonded on an active warrant out of Gilpin County with a PR bond.   

On 1/28/20, a deputy was advised of threats that had been made to employees of the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office and towards employees with the Gilpin County Courts. A report was generated to document the incident and the case was forwarded to the Gilpin County Investigation Division.

On 1/30/20, at approximately 10:27 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to found property, which was turned in at Central City`s City Hall. A black smartphone was found on a walking trail, located between the Central City Opera House and the Teller House, below Spruce Street. The smart phone was turned in and was later logged into evidence for safe keeping. 

On 1/30/20,  a deputy took a phone report of a theft. The case is still active and under investigation.

On 1/30/20, at approximately 6:39 p.m., a deputy contacted a party who was known to have a warrant at the Century Casino. The party was arrested on said warrant.

On 1/31/20, a deputy was processing a release for a Gilpin County Inmate. The deputy located an active warrant for this inmate. The inmate was  booked into the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.

February 2020

On 2/1/20, Gilpin County deputies arrested a suspect in Rollinsville for driving under the influence.  A case report was later completed.

On 2/3/20, a deputy was advised that a party with an outstanding arrest warrant may have been staying at the Grand Z casino. The party was later located and placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant.

On 2/2/20, a Gilpin County deputy was conducting a vehicle check and located a cell phone in the rear seat of the patrol truck. A case report was completed.

On 2/4/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident on the Central City Parkway. A traffic accident report was completed to document the incident and the driver of the vehicle involved was later located and issued a penalty assessment.

On 2/5/20, a deputy responded to Creekwood Trail, on a report of threatening voicemails. A report was later completed.

On 2/5/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a residence on a report of found property. The property was collected and booked into evidence.

On 2/6/20, a deputy responded to a traffic accident involving one vehicle striking a stop sign and light pole. An accident report was completed.

On 2/6/20, Colorado State Patrol brought a male party to the jail on suspicion of DUI. An Evidential Breath Alcohol Test was performed on the male party.

On 2/7/20, a Gilpin County deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be under suspension. A summons was issued and a report taken.

On 2/7/20, an Arapahoe County warrant was found for a female party currently in custody at Gilpin County Jail. She was booked in and held on $10,000 cash or surety bond.

On 2/7/20, a deputy was processing a release for a Gilpin County inmate. The deputy located an active warrant for this inmate. The inmate was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.

On 2/8/20, a deputy responded to Powder Run Dr. in Central City on the report of a disturbance. A party was later arrested for harassment and animal cruelty charges.

On 2/8/20, Gilpin County deputies responded to Hughesville Road for a call of a burglary in progress. A case report was later completed.

On 2/8/20, a deputy was dispatched to the Johnny Z Casino, on a report of a stolen coat. A case report was completed.

On 2/18/20, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of a disturbance which occurred at a residence in unincorporated Gilpin County.  

On 2/9/20, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 300 block of Gregory Street for a subject that had an active warrant. A case report was later completed.

On 2/10/20, a deputy issued a Proof of Service to a male party for driving without a valid driver’s license.

On 2/10/20, a Gilpin County dtowed an abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of Main Street, Central City. A case report was completed.

On 2/10/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to an address in Central City on a party who was having some mental health problems. Paramedics responded to the scene and the party was transported to the hospital to seek medical attention. A case report was completed.

On 2/10/20, a deputy received a call from the Denver Marshal’s Office. The deputy located an active warrant for this inmate. The inmate was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on the warrant.

On 2/10/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a private property accident on Eureka Street, Central City. A report was taken.

On 2/11/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to an accident where a semitrailer had knocked down a stop sign. An accident report was completed.

On 2/11/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to Blue Spruce Road, Black Hawk, on a call of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle in question was reported stolen. The vehicle was towed and a report was taken.

On 2/11/20, an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in custody at the Gilpin County Detention Facility.  The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.

On 2/12/20, Gilpin County deputies responded to a business on the report of a motor vehicle theft. A male party was later arrested in relation to the incident.

On 2/10/20, a deputy responded to an inmate fight in progress at the Gilpin County Detention Facility. The participants were separated.

On 2/12/20, an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in custody at the Gilpin County Detention Facility. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.

On 2/13/20, a Gilpin County deputy stopped to check on a disabled vehicle at mile marker 6.5 on the Central City Parkway. The vehicle was disabled and obstructing traffic. The vehicle was impounded.

On 2/13/20, a male party arrived at the Gilpin County Jail to turn himself in on a warrant. He was arrested and held on no bond per as indicated by the warrant.  

On 2/13/20, a deputy was dispatched to a dog at large call on Casey Street, located in the incorporated City of Central City. The owner of the dog was located and issued a summons for the dog at large. A case report was later completed.  

On 2/13/20, a Gilpin County deputy contacted a party who was known to have a warrant at the Dostal Alley Casino. The party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.

On 2/14/20, a person currently at the Gilpin County Combined Courts was found to have an active warrant.  

On 2/14/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to Robinson Hill Rd, Black Hawk, on the report of a motor vehicle accident. A report was taken.

On 2/15/20, a deputy contacted a party in the 1600 block of Highway 119 in unincorporated Gilpin County that had fictitious license plates on a trailer. A case report was later completed.

On 2/17/20, a Gilpin County deputy located a motor vehicle accident within Central City.  The driver of the vehicle was later issued a penalty assessment and a case report was generated to document the incident.    

On 2/17/20, a Gilpin County deputy covered a Colorado State Patrol Officer on a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Gregory Street in Central City. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving under the influence. 

On 2/19/20, a deputy located a semi-truck and trailer blocking Virginia Canyon Road. The driver was later issued a penalty assessment due to not having tire chains on his vehicle.  

On 2/21/20, a party called the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office and requested a welfare check on a female party who lives in Gilpin County.  A report was taken.

On 2/23/20, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Lawrence St, Central City, on a report of a welfare check on an intoxicated party. After further investigation a male party was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. A case report was completed.

On 2/23/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a business in the 1300 block of Highway 119, unincorporated Gilpin County, on the report of a forgery.  A counterfeit one hundred-dollar bill was seized and a report was taken.

On 2/24/20, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was later issued a summons for various traffic violations and a passenger in the vehicle was arrested for violation of a restraining order related to domestic violence.     

On 2/24/20, a Gilpin County deputy conducted a traffic stop on the Central City Parkway. The driver was later issued a summons for various traffic violations and a passenger in the vehicle was arrested for violation of a restraining order related to domestic violence.     

On 2/25/20, a person currently in the Gilpin County Detention Facility was found to have an active warrant.  

On 2/25/20, a deputy was dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle accident on Nevada St in Central City. Both drivers were issued citations as a result of the accident, and a case report was completed.   

On 2/25/20, Gilpin County deputies were called to C-Pod for a fight in progress. The inmates were broken up and an investigation was conducted. Medics were called for the victim and the aggressor was charged with Assault in the Third Degree. 

On 2/26/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to Chalet Dr., Black Hawk, on the report of a suspicious event. A report was taken.  

On 2/27/20, there was a vehicle fire in the Gilpin County Courts parking lot.

 

On 2/27/20, a deputy took a theft report. The suspect was contacted and released on summons.   

On 2/28/20, a Gilpin County deputy conducted a traffic stop at the 12500 block of Highway 119. The driver was arrested for DUI and speeding.

On 2/28/20, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of a theft. A suspect has been identified and the case is still under investigation.

On 2/28/20, a deputy responded to a trespass call on Eagle Way. The suspect and the property owner were contacted and a verbal warning was given to the suspect. A case report was later completed.  

On 2/29/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a possible theft from inside of a vehicle, in the Grand Z Casino and Hotel`s parking structure in Central City. There was no good suspect information relating to the theft. A case report was later completed.

On 2/29/20, a warrant was located for a man in the Century Casino parking garage. The man was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail without incident.
