Celebrating the holidays was more than one joyous occasion at Gilpin County School. Friends and families enjoyed performances from elementary, middle school, and high school musicians and artists throughout the month of December. Kindergarten, first, fourth, and fifth grades delighted audiences with their renditions of traditional and unique holiday songs. High school advanced art students got their chance to share their end of the semester experimental art pieces. Before and after the elementary concert participants enjoyed learning and creating art related to the forces of nature and momentary experience. This was all set to the backdrop of beautiful holiday art from the elementary students.
