The Gilpin Library hosted a book, bake, and plant sale on June 16 and 17, 2023. The sale made a little over $1,100.
Michael Carlson, Library Director, said, “We had approximately 250 stop by for the sale. The funds from this sale will go to pay for many of the programs and performers we are hosting this summer.”
The money raised by the Friends of the Gilpin Library ensures that the library never has to charge a fee for programs or activities. The Friends of the Gilpin Library is a 501(c)(3) organization that is always looking for new members to help with projects and fundraising. The group meets throughout the year.
