On 9/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy observed a male party unconscious behind the steering wheel of a vehicle in the Century Casino parking garage. The male party was later issued a summons for possession of methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
On 9/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of Lawrence Street. The driver appeared to be intoxicated but after testing was released. A case report was later completed.
On 9/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy had an abandoned vehicle towed from mile marker 5 on the Central City Parkway. A case report was later completed.
On 9/2/21, Gilpin County deputies witnessed a crash in the 100 block of Spring Street. The crash was investigated on scene.
On 9/2/21, Gilpin County deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of mile marker 6.8 on Central City Parkway. An on-scene investigation resulted in narcotics being located and summons being issued.
On 9/2/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 400 block of Lawrence Street in reference to an abandoned vehicle that had been there since 9/1/21.
On 9/3/21, Gilpin County deputies took a report of a theft of medication from a mailbox that was reported to a deputy. There are no suspects at this time.
On 9/3/21, a Gilpin County deputy was working their assigned shift at the Gilpin County Jail when a cell door was damaged by an inmate. This inmate was issued a summons, without incident.
On 9/4/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to a disturbance at 2773 Coyote Circle. The case is open pending investigation.

On 9/5/21, a Gilpin County deputy was in their marked patrol truck performing traffic enforcement at approximately mile marker 7 on the Central City Parkway. traffic stop was conducted and a summons was issued.
On 9/5/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Highway 119. Upon arrival deputies found that one of the involved parties had left the scene. The investigation disclosed that there was no criminal activity. A report was taken.
On 9/6/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the Grand Z Casino City in reference to fraud. Counterfeit money was collected by staff from a customer and turned over to the Gilpin County Sheriff`s office and a report was taken.
On 9/7/21, Colorado Division of Gaming, Colorado State Patrol and several Gilpin County deputies assisted Black Hawk Police with a disturbance.
On 9/9/21, a Gilpin County deputy conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Black Hawk. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of methamphetamine. Two other passengers were cited and released.

On 9/10/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to a report of a roll-over accident in the 500 block of Patricia Road in Rollinsville. The sole occupant received emergency medical attention and was taken to a hospital for treatment. A case report was later completed.

On 9/14/21, a Gilpin County deputy contacted a suspicious vehicle parked in a parking garage in the 300 block of Gregory Street. A male party in the vehicle was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and was arrested. A report was later completed.
On 9/14/21, a party turned in lost/ abandoned property to a Gilpin County deputy. The property was processed into evidence as lost/abandoned property. A report was later completed.
On 9/14/21, Timberline Fire, Gilpin Ambulance and a Gilpin deputy responded to an address off of South Beaver Creek Road, on the report of a male party who was not conscious and was not breathing. Due to quick action, the male party was revived.
On 9/15/21, a Gilpin County deputy contacted three suspicious people in the Gold Mountain Village parking lot located at 445 Powder Run Drive. One of the individuals ran off. It was discovered he was in possession of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was towed and a case report was later completed.
On 9/15/21, Gilpin County deputies, assisted by Colorado State Patrol, conducted a high-risk traffic stop on a known violent felon wanted out of Minnesota. As a result of that stop, two individuals were taken into custody.
On 9/18/21, a deputy was dispatched to RMO, located at 5312-B Highway 119 on a report of found drugs. A report was completed.

On 9/18/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the Gold Mountain Village apartments, located at 440 Powder Run Drive on a trespassing call. One party was arrested.

On 9/22/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the 2400 block of South Beaver Creek Road on a possible civil issue. An investigation was completed and the matter was determined to be civil. A report was later completed.
On 9/22/21, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of a stolen license plate that took place in Central City. The license plate has been entered as stolen.
On 9/22/21, Gilpin County deputies, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Division of Gaming and Black Hawk Police, responded to the Isle Casino to locate a fugitive. Two parties were arrested as a result.
On 9/22/21, a Gilpin County deputy found that had violated a mandatory protection order, while he was already being held on other charges in the Gilpin County Jail.
On 9/24/21, a Gilpin County deputy observed a hit and run vehicle crash involving a moose. The vehicle which struck the moose did not stay on scene. The moose was euthanized due to its injuries.
On 9/24/21, a Colorado Parks and Wildlife Officer observed a single vehicle crash on south Highway 119. A Gilpin deputy responded and began a DUI investigation. One male party was arrested for DUI and possession of a controlled substance. Colorado State Patrol handled the crash investigation.

On 9/25/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 2500 block of Highway 119 on a report of a motor vehicle crash that was property damage only. The driver had fled the scene, no other vehicles were involved. The vehicle was towed and a case report was later completed.
On 9/27/21, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of alleged criminal mischief to a residential structure`s garage pedestrian door this past weekend.
On 9/28/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the 500 block of Karlann Drive on a report of a dog issue. A summons was issued for the dog at large and a report was later completed.
On 9/28/21, a wallet was found on the road at Highway 119 and Apex Valley Road. The wallet will be booked into evidence for safekeeping for the owner.
