On 3/01/16 at approximately 0034 hours, deputies responded on a welfare check. The party was later arrested on an outstanding warrant.
On 2/13/16 at approximately 1417 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle known to be driven by a suspended driver. The deputy confirmed the driver had a suspended driver`s license. The driver was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/02/16 at approximately 0019 hours, Deputies contacted a vehicle in the Z Stop gas station on a welfare check. The driver was later arrested for violation of a protection order.
On 3/01/16 at approximately 1030 hour, a Deputy assisted the Elementary Principal with a student. Case closed. End of report.
On 3/3/16 at approximately 1510 hours, a Gilpin Deputy took a report of a possible harassment.
On Tuesday 3/01/16, at approximately 1620 hours, a Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office deputy took a report of violation of a protection order.
On 3/04/16 an inmate in the Gilpin County Detention Facility was found to have an active warrant out of Westminster Police Department and was processed into the jail without incident.
On 3/05/16 a deputy provided backup for a Central City officer on a traffic stop. One of the passengers was found to have 3 active warrants who was taken into custody and booked into the Gilpin County Jail
On Saturday, 3/05/16, at approximately 1340 hours, a Deputy contacted a motorcycle, at mile marker 18.2, located in unincorporated Gilpin County, Colorado , for speeding. The motorcycle`s operator was issued a summons for speeding and a case report was later completed.
On Sunday 3/06/16, at approximately 1535 hours, a deputy was dispatched to a report of 2 intoxicated males working on vehicles parked on a county roadway. It was later determined that one male party had driven the vehicles to the location while intoxicated. The party was arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 3/06/16 a deputy incurred minor body damage to his patrol vehicle while performing patrol duties.
On 3/07/16 a deputy responded to the Black Hawk Post Office to provide a courtesy transport for an individual needing to get to court. The party was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.
On 3/08/16 at approximately 1015 a deputy found a suspicious item in a parking lot. Item was turned over to Jefferson County Bomb Squad. Case closed.
