On 10/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy found a vehicle that had been reported stolen in the 200 block of East 1st High Street in Central City. The vehicle was towed, the owner was notified and a case report was later completed.
On 10/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a possible motor vehicle accident on Athena Road. Upon arrival the vehicle was in the ditch with the driver behind the steering wheel, the driver appeared to be under the influence and Colorado State Patrol was requested for the MVA. The deputy remained on scene until the arrival of CSP.
On 10/1/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the Century Casino for a report of counterfeit bills. A deputy responded and took the bills and booked them into evidence.
On 10/2/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to 132 Lawrence Street on the report of a purse theft. The purse was located and a report taken.
On 10/3/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a call at approximately 1601 Highway 119 for a vehicle roll over.
On 10/4/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 100 block of Main Street, Central City, on a report of a disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene the suspect was already gone. Casino staff stated that they did not want to press charges. A report was made.
On 10/4/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to approximately the 100 block of Lawrence Street, Central City, for the report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage. A report was made.
On 10/5/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a single vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash near mile marker 6.4 on the Central City Parkway. A report was taken.
On 10/5/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 5000 block of Central City Parkway in reference to a single vehicle crash involving a wild animal. The crash was investigated on scene and a report was taken.
On 10/5/21, a Gilpin County deputy spoke with a citizen who reported I.D. theft and fraud.
On 10/7/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to Golden Gate Canyon State Park Visitor Center in reference to a lost property item. A report was taken.
On 10/8/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the report of a theft that occurred at the Gold Mountain Village apartments. A deputy responded to the address where the reporting party had mail stolen. A report was made.
On 10/8/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to assist Clear Creek County deputies in a pursuit on the Central City Parkway. A suspect was taken into custody after a successful termination of the pursuit.
On 10/9/21, the Gilpin County Sheriff’s office was informed of a call in Boulder County 1208 Hess Road, where they were requesting assistance with a female party laying naked in a ditch possibly assaulted. Boulder Sheriff’s Office was responding and had an extended response time. Gilpin County deputies responded but no contact was made. The case is closed.
On 10/10/21, a Gilpin County deputy working their assigned shift at the Gilpin County Jail took a male party into custody on a warrant without incident.
On 10/11/21, a male party was pulled over by a Gilpin County deputy for speeding and was later determined to be driving under the influence and in violation of a restraining order. The male party was taken into custody and later released due to medical reasons.
On 10/11/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Rollins Pass, Rollinsville, in reference to a cold theft from a motor vehicle. A report was completed.
On 10/11/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Central City Parkway, in reference to a cold theft from a motor vehicle. A report was completed.
On 10/11/21 Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to a call for service located at 271 Church Placer Road. Dispatch advised that the call can be handled by phone. A report was completed.
On 10/11/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a traffic accident located at the 6000 block of Central City Parkway. A report was taken.
On 10/12/21, a Gilpin County deputy located an abandoned disabled vehicle near mile marker 2 of the Central City Parkway. The vehicle was obstructing traffic and was towed. A report was taken.
On 10/13/21, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of animal cruelty that occurred near C Street in Central City. A case report was later completed.
On 10/15/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to a call for service at the Century Casino garage Level 4, of a report of a theft from a vehicle.
On 10/17/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 6000 block of Virginia Canyon Road, on the report of a vehicle trespass. A report was taken.
On 10/18/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the Century Casino parking garage on the report of a vandalized vehicle. No suspects were identified, and a report was taken.
On 10/19/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the Grand Z Casino in reference to an attempted motor vehicle theft and a report was completed.
On 10/20/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to a welfare check at the Gold Mountain
Village apartments. The party was contacted and found to be okay.
On 10/20/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the area of 17500 Highway 119 for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
On 10/22/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to a cold theft located at 15193 Hwy 119. Dispatched further advised the call can be handled by phone. A report was completed.
On 10/22/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Highway 119 for the report of a traffic complaint. A male party was contacted at the Lady Luck Casino, was placed on a mental health hold, and transported to Lutheran Medical Center.
On 10/25/21, Gilpin County deputies advised of an unresponsive female not conscious but breathing at 380 Hacker Drive. Medical and Fire who were already on scene advised they were performing CPR.
On 10/25/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to 113 Main Street (Elks
Lodge #557) in reference to a cold theft and a report was completed.
On 10/25/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 400 block of Lawrence Street, on the report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage. An accident report was taken.
On 10/25/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the 100 block of Pine Circle on the report of a disturbance. A female party was transported to Lutheran Medical Center for a mental health evaluation and a warrant issued for an assault.
On 10/26/21, a Gilpin County deputy was conducting a business check in a casino when he observed a male party that was wanted for a felony warrant out of Clear Creek. The individual was arrested and taken to jail.
On 10/27/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to 93 Load Road in reference to a cold theft from trailer and a report was completed.
On 10/27/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the 400 block of Apex Valley Road for a report of a suspicious item abandoned on the property.
On 10/28/21, Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to Grand Z Casino in reference to a welfare check and a custodial arrest was made with a report completed.
On 10/28/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the Coyote Motel located at 5312-A Highway 119, Black Hawk for a report of a disturbance in progress. After an investigation an arrest was made and a case report was later completed.
On 10/30/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a call of harassment located at 19507 Highway 119, Black Hawk. A report was completed.
On 10/30/21, Gilpin County deputies, Colorado Division of Gaming Investigators, and Gilpin Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to Dostal Alley Casino on the report of an assault. No criminal charges were filed. A report was taken.
On 10/30/21, Gilpin County deputies, Gilpin Medics, and Timberline Fire personnel were dispatched to the 100 block of Severance Lodge on the report of a deceased individual. A report was taken, and the deceased party was released to the Coroner.
