On 11/1/23, at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a civil issue that could be handled by telephone.
On 11/2/23, at approximately 7 p.m., deputies were dispatched for drugs found at Century Casino.
On 11/2/23, at approximately 8:32 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to a report of a sex assault. A report was completed.
On 11/3/23, at approximately 11 a.m., an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in custody at the Gilpin County Detention Facility. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 11/3/23, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a booking deputy was advised that a female party was in the Sheriff's Office lobby to turn herself in on an active warrant. The female party was arrested without incident, booked and bonded out.
On 11/3/23, at approximately 11:39 p.m., a deputy responded to the report of a theft which had occurred at the Century Casino. A report was taken.
On 11/4/23, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a black briefcase was turned into a deputy as found property. The briefcase was found on Nevada Street in Central City. The briefcase was booked into evidence for safe keeping.
On 11/5/23, at approximately 10 p.m., a deputy was performing their assigned duties at the Gilpin County Detention Center. Deputies made contact with a woman in the GCSO lobby. The woman had a warrant and was taken into custody and was booked into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 11/5/23, at approximately 10:07 p.m., a deputy on routine patrol found a male laying in the middle of Highway 119 just north of Apex Valley Road. The male had serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Investigation disclosed no reason for the male to be in the road and had likely not been struck by a vehicle.
On 11/6/23, at approximately 10:13 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to take a phone report in reference to an alleged fraud/identity theft in Gilpin County. A report was later completed.
On 11/7/23, at approximately 9:46 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Dory Hill Road in reference to a male party who was unresponsive and not breathing. CPR was performed.
On 11/8/23, at approximately 10:09 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to take a complaint by phone call in Gilpin County in reference to an alleged trespass. A report was completed.
On 11/9/23, a fight occurred between two inmates at the jail. A sergeant responded to the fight. No charges were filed and a report was later completed.
On 11/10/23, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a deputy was performing their assigned duties at the Gilpin County Detention Facility when the deputy was notified that Black Hawk Police were arriving with one female subject in custody. Upon arrival at the detention facility, the female party became verbally non-compliant and began to physically resist, kicking a deputy in the leg. The female was restrained and put in a holding cell where she injured her hand. Gilpin Ambulance was notified to respond. The female was treated for her injury and taken to St. Anthony Hospital for further evaluation.
On 11/10/23, at approximately 9:41 hours, deputies responded to the report of a fraud at the Grand Z Casino. A report was taken.
On 11/11/23, at approximately 2:06 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop. After an investigation, a male party was arrested for a DUI.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 2:12 a.m., a deputy responded to conduct a welfare check on an individual in the vicinity of mile marker 4.5. A report was taken.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 6:55 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to respond to a train derailment located near Pactolus Lake Road.
On 11/12/23, a deputy received a call regarding a motor vehicle accident at the Century Casino parking garage. The deputy is currently investigating leads to identify the suspect.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 2:10 p.m., a deputy took a call regarding a Off Highway Vehicle accident report at Columbine Campground.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 4:13 p.m., a deputy responded to the 200 block of Mac Rock Road on the report of property damage. The deputy did an investigation. A report was made.
On 11/12/23, at approximately 4:59 p.m., a deputy responded to the Dragon Tiger Casino for counterfeit money. The deputy seized the money and a report was taken.
On 11/13/23, at approximately 10:20 a.m., a deputy placed a female party on a M-1 Hold in Gilpin County.
On 11/14/23, a deputy arrested a party on an active warrant in the Gilpin County Combined Courts clerk's office. A report was later completed.
On 11/14/23, at approximately 11:27 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy took a report for a found item. The owner was located and the item was returned. A report was completed later.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 5:28 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to a medical call. A report was completed later.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 12:18 p.m., a deputy was dispatched a call for service via telephone about possible child abuse that happened in Gilpin County.
On 11/15/23, at approximately 4:15 a.m., a deputy assisted another agency in the metro area with a two vehicle crash. A report was later completed.
On 11/16/23, at approximately 4:27 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 3000 block of Highway 119 in reference to a Motor Vehicle Accident and a report was taken.
On 11/16/23, at approximately 9:38 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to a civil dispute in Gilpin County.
On 11/16/23, at approximately 3:42 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to take a phone call complaint from the Century Casino in reference to an alleged Identity Theft. A report was completed and a summons was issued.
On 11/16/23, at approximately 8:18 p.m., deputies were performing their assigned duties at the Gilpin County Detentions Center when they were contacted about a new warrant for a current male inmate from the Arvada Police Department. After the warrant was confirmed and located the male inmate was booked in on this new warrant without incident. No further action was taken.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Gilpin County deputies attempted to stop a driver suspected of driving under the influence. The driver fled and deputies terminated the pursuit after the driver made it to eastbound I-70.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 3:36 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy collected a counterfeit $20 bill from the Century Casino. It was processed into evidence.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 5:10 p.m., a deputy was assigned to a fraud call which occurred in the 300 block of Badger Road. A report was taken and the case was forwarded to investigations.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 7:36 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino on the report of counterfeit money. After an investigation, the money was seized and a report was taken.
On 11/17/23, at approximately 10:15 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a potential motor vehicle accident in the area of the intersection of Paradise Valley Parkway and Highway 119.
On 11/18/23, at approximately 1 p.m., a deputy was advised of property left by a person previously incarcerated in the Gilpin County Jail. The property was booked into evidence for safekeeping and a report was taken.
On 11/19/23, at approximately 12:57 a.m., deputies responded to Highway 119 at mile marker 4.5 on the report of a head-on collision. The driver who caused the traffic collision fled the scene. Deputies assisted State Troopers with the investigation.
On 11/19/23, at approximately 12:10 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy arrested a male party in the 100 block of Main Street for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
On 11/20/23, at approximately 11:10 a.m., a deputy took a report of credit card fraud that occurred out of state.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 10:20 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 11500 block of Highway 119 and a female party was arrested on a warrant.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 1:02 p.m., Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to assist another agency in reference to a motor vehicle accident that occurred at approximately mile marker 2.5 of Highway 119.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to 134 Lawrence Street in reference to a Drug Violation and the report was completed.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 5:18 p.m., deputies responded to the 700 block of North Dory Lakes Drive on a disturbance. A female was arrested and taken to jail.
On 11/22/23, at approximately 11:01 a.m., Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to the area of 300 Eureka Street in reference to a disturbance. Drugs were found. A report was later completed.
On 11/23/23, a deputy found a crashed car on the shoulder of Central City Parkway. Vehicle was red tagged and a report was made.
On 11/24/23, at approximately 10:50 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy responded with medics for an injured child.
On 11/24/23, at approximately 9:10 p.m., a deputy responded to the report of a dog issue located in the 100 block of Russell Gulch Road. Three dogs were transported to the Clear Creek/Gilpin Animal shelter and a report was taken.
On 11/25/23, at approximately 9:10 a.m., a deputy contacted a person by phone for a welfare check. The person resides in Black Hawk. The person was found to be okay. A report was taken.
On 11/26/23, at approximately 10:45 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy assisted Colorado State Patrol with a single vehicle accident at mile marker 2.5 of Highway 119 in unincorporated Gilpin County.
On 11/27/23, at approximately 2:05 p.m., an individual was booked into the Gilpin County Jail on four outstanding warrants.
On 11/27/23, at approximately 4:19 p.m., a deputy responded to the 300 block of Spring Street for a vehicle that backed into a UPS truck. The deputy arrived and conducted an accident investigation and a citation was issued to the driver that backed into the UPS truck.
On 11/28/23, at approximately 12:47 p.m., a Gilpin County deputy assisted Colorado State Patrol with a traffic stop. Citations were issued by Colorado State Patrol.
On 11/28/23, at approximately 2:05 p.m., deputies responded to the Century Casino for a trespass. A male party was taken into custody and released on a summons.
On 11/28/23, at approximately 8:05 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Easy Street Casino located at 120 Main Street on a report of fraud. A report was done.
On 11/29/23, at approximately 8:54 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to 2960 Dory Hill Road in reference to a Fraud and a report was taken.
On 11/30/23, a deputy was working in the Gilpin County Jail at 2960 Dory Hill Road, Black Hawk, and received a notification through the CCIC/NCIC system of a warrant for a female that is already in our custody. The female party was booked in on the out of county warrant without incident.
