On 2/3/22 at approximately 9:47 p.m., Gilpin County deputies responded to the 100 block of Conestoga Road on the report of a disturbance. A female party was arrested for DUI and processed into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 2/4/22 at approximately 1:09 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 300 Patricia Road in unincorporated Gilpin County in reference to an identity theft. Deputies contacted the reporting party and a report was taken.
On 2/5/22 at approximately 2:53 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to 321 Gregory Street (Grand Z Casino), Central City. The female reporting party wanted to report her son missing.
On 2/5/22 at approximately 10:54 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Black Hawk on the report of a cold assault, physical harassment. A report was taken.
On 12/27/21 at approximately 2:20 p.m., a deputy received an email from the Innocence Project requesting preservation of evidence. On 2/7/22 said deputy met with an Evidence Technician to review a 1986 homicide case.
On 2/9/22 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office deputy was requested to assist members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with a death investigation.
On 2/10/22 at approximately 2:40 a.m., a Gilpin County deputy pulled a party over for speeding. The party was arrested for DUID and processed into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 2/10/22 at approximately 8:40 a.m., a deputy took a report by phone of a theft that occurred on 2/8/22. A case report was taken and an investigation was opened.
On 2/10/22 at approximately 12:04 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Central City on a report of found drug paraphernalia. A report was completed.
On 2/10/22 at approximately 7:41 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop at Richman Street and Highway 119 in Black Hawk. The deputy observed a gold colored 4-door sedan traveling Northbound MM 6 on Highway 119 and the observed vehicle did not have a license plate.
On 2/13/22 deputies responded to a report of a criminal mischief in the Century Casino parking garage, located at 111 Lawrence Street in Central City. The investigation pointed to this incident being related to a string of several other incidents which occurred throughout the night. The case is currently under investigation.
On 2/14/22 at approximately 1:09 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Century Casino in Central City in reference to a hit and run crash. Deputies responded and a report was taken and a citation was issued.
On 2/13/22, a deputy was dispatched to a report of a suicidal party. A search for the party ensued and they were eventually located.
On 2/13/22 at approximately 9:14 p.m., Gilpin County deputies, Colorado State Patrol, and Gilpin medics responded to the 200 block of Venus Road in Black Hawk on the report of a suicidal person. A person was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
On 2/13/22 at approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Central City in reference to a cold theft from a motor vehicle and a report was completed.
On 2/16/22 at approximately 1:57 a.m., a female party was arrested by Gilpin County deputies for attempting to elude a DUI. She was processed into the Gilpin County Jail.
On 2/17/22, deputies responded to a residence in Central City on the report of a disturbance. The disturbance was verbal only and we helped diffuse the situation.
On 2/19/22 at approximately 10:03 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 310 East First High Street, Central City, in reference to a suicidal subject. An on-scene investigation determined the subject was not suicidal and a report was taken.
On 2/20/22 at approximately 7:43 p.m., Gilpin deputies responded to Central City on the report of a suspicious vehicle. A deputy arrived on scene and located a U-haul trailer that had been stolen earlier in the day. The victim was notified and requested to come to the trailer where it was determined that nothing had been stolen from the trailer. A report was made.
On 2/20/22 at approximately 9:03 p.m., Gilpin deputies responded to the 100 block of Golconda Road on the report of a cold burglary. A deputy arrived on scene, cleared the building, and collected evidence. A report was made.
On 2/20/22 at approximately 9:58 p.m., Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of South Beaver Creek Road in unincorporated Gilpin County. Deputies arrived and determined the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Nederland. Deputies impounded the vehicle on behalf of the Nederland Police Department and a report was taken.
On 2/21/22 at approximately 8:23 p.m., a deputy found a reported stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Gregory Street in Central City. The vehicle was towed, an investigation was begun and a case report was completed.
On 2/22/22 at approximately 9 a.m., while investigating criminal activity in the 300 block of Gregory Street in Central City a deputy found two suspects that were found to have active warrants for their arrests. The two were arrested and booked into the Gilpin County Jail. A case report was later completed.
On 2/23/22 at approximately 6:15 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Gregory Street in Central City for a report of theft from a wallet. The deputy arrested an individual for two warrants and a violation of a protection order. A case report was later completed.
On 2/23/22 at approximately 1:55 p.m., deputies responded to the 200 block of East Fourth High Street in Central City for a report of a suicidal party. The individual was evaluated by paramedics and taken to the hospital for treatment. A case report was later completed.
On 2/24/22 at approximately 10:55 a.m., a deputy took a report of a suspected illegal marijuana grow in Black Hawk.
On 2/25/22, a deputy was dispatched to a local residence regarding a possible stolen U-Haul truck located there. The truck was found and a report was completed.
On 2/25/22 at approximately 1:04 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 238 Aurora Road in Black Hawk in reference to an animal cruelty call and a report was completed.
On 2/27/22 at approximately 9:53 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to a welfare check regarding a suicidal individual. The reporting party was located at the 400 block of Powder Run Drive in Central City and a report was taken.
