On 07/1/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the Easy Street Casino for a report of harassment by a male party. A warning was issued.
On 7/5/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the 900 block of S Beaver Creek Rd on the report of a party trespassing and shooting on private property. A report was taken.
On 7/5/21, Gilpin County deputies contacted a vehicle in the Dostal Alley Casino Parking Lot. One male party was arrested for four active arrest warrants, DUI, possession of meth, violation of a protection order and several other charges. One female party was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.
On 7/6/21, a Gilpin County deputy located a narcotic violation in the 100 block of Lawrence Street. The parties fled in their vehicle and struck a parked car. The suspects nor the vehicle were identified and a report was later completed.
On 7/6/21, a Gilpin County deputy was approached by an employee at the Easy Street Casino. The employee had located property left behind by a patron. The found property was handed over to the Sheriff’s Office and has been placed in evidence.
On 7/6/21, Gilpin County Deputies, Central City Fire, and Gilpin Ambulance were dispatched to 400 Mammoth view Ln on the report of a suicidal individual. A party was transported to the hospital.
On 7/7/21, a Gilpin County Deputy conducted a traffic stop near mile marker 5 Highway 119. The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, drug charges, and traffic violations.
On 7/8/21, an active, valid warrant was discovered for a person in custody at the Gilpin County Detention Facility. The person was arrested and processed on the warrant.
On 7/11/21, a Gilpin County deputy was performing duties at the Gilpin County Jail when they were informed by a CSO that there was a male party that wanted to turn himself in on a Gilpin warrant.
On 7/9/21, a Gilpin County Deputy took a report of theft of medication from a mailbox that occurred around 6/24/21 at 1415 Golden Gate Drive. No suspects at this time.
On 7/10/21, a Gilpin County deputy was requested to perform a welfare check at the Grand Z Casino located at 321 Gregory Street. A subject was placed on a mental health hold for their safety and taken to a hospital for care. A case report was later completed.
On 7/10/21, a Gilpin County deputy found a multi-tool in the road of Columbine Campground located at 1319 Columbine Campground Road. The owner was not found and the multi-tool was logged into evidence.
On 7/11/21, a Gilpin County deputy found a deceased person that had been reported missing by the Loveland Police Department in the Century Parking Garage located at 107 Lawrence Street.
On 7/12/21, a male party turned in a lost phone, found in the vicinity of Chase Reservoir, to a deputy. A report was made.
On 7/13/21, a Gilpin County Deputy responded to the report of a cold burglary in Central City. A vehicle was stolen out of the residence, but was recovered two hours later in the forest. Case under investigation.
On 7/14/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 600 block of Highway 119. A suspect was located and determined to be uninvolved. A report was later completed.
On 7/14/21, a female party arrived at the Sheriff’s Office lobby to report a violation of protection order by an ex-boyfriend. A report was made and the male party was contacted via telephone and instructed to turn himself in or a warrant would be issued for his arrest. Nothing further.
On 7/15/21, a Gilpin County deputy assisted the Gilpin County attorney with a court mandate to remove trash from a property in the 100 block of Hornblend Road. During this a stolen vehicle was recovered from the residence and a report was later completed.
On 7/15/21, a Gilpin County deputy assisted Human Services on a Child Welfare check in the 100 block of Hornblend Road. A report was later completed.
On 7/15/21, a male party arrived at the Gilpin County Sheriff`s Office to report his motorcycle stolen. A report was made.
On 7/15/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the 19000 block of Highway 119 for a suicidal female party. Deputies and Gilpin ambulance responded. A female was transported to Lutheran Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. Nothing further.
On 7/16/21, Gilpin County Deputies responded to Midway Drive for a report of an abducted party. A case report was later completed.
On 7/16/21, Gilpin County deputies responded to the Grand Z casino for a drug problem. A male party was seen on camera dropping drug paraphernalia on the ground. The male party was contacted and was discovered that he had an extraditable warrant, was taken into custody on it, and processed into the Gilpin County Jail. Nothing further.
On 7/16/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a crash near the intersection of Gregory Street and Spring Street. A crash report and a case report were later completed.
On 7/16/21, Gilpin County deputies assisted Black Hawk Police Officers with a theft case. A female suspect was taken into custody and being held at the Black Hawk Police Department. Nothing further.
On 7/17/21, a Gilpin County Deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z located at 321 Gregory St on a report of a theft. A report was completed.
On 7/17/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the Century Casino for a report of a motor vehicle accident, with property damage that had occurred in the parking garage. A report was taken. Nothing further.
On 7/19/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a local residence to check the welfare of two children. While on scene a stolen vehicle was discovered, and later impounded.
On 7/19/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a residence regarding other people’s mail that was placed inside their mailbox. The mail was collected and was returned to the Post Office.
On 7/20/21, a Gilpin County Deputy located an unoccupied stolen vehicle near the 4000 block of Gamble Gulch Rd. The vehicle was impounded and a report taken.
On 7/20/21, a Gilpin County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Gamble Gulch Road. The driver was arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen license plates and driving a vehicle on a suspended license.
On 7/22/21, two Gilpin County deputies were dispatched to Cold Springs Campground regarding a suspicious vehicle. A report was completed and case in active pending investigation.
On 7/23/21, Gilpin deputies responded to a local address and arrested a male party with 2 active warrants. Case Closed
On 7/23/21, a Gilpin County Deputy was dispatched to a theft located at approximately 103 Service Berry Ln. The Deputy was advised it could be handled by phone. A report was completed.
On 7/23/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the Grand Z Casino located at 321 Gregory Street for a report of a counterfeit bill. There were no suspects, the bill was collected and a case report was later completed.
On 7/23/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a report of a cold assault that was handled by telephone. A deputy spoke with the male reporting party who stated that he had been assaulted by his daughter`s boyfriend and that he wanted to file charges against him. A report was made. Nothing further
On 7/24/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the area of the 6000 block of Highway 119 for a report of a head on motor vehicle crash. Two vehicle occupants were transported to the hospital, two vehicles were towed and a case report was later completed.
On 7/27/21, a Gilpin County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on south Highway 119. The driver was arrested for several warrants, driving under the influence and possession of methamphetamine. The passenger in the vehicle was issued a summons for possession of methamphetamine.
On 7/28/21, a Gilpin County deputy attempted to make a traffic stop in the 100 block of Richman Street. The vehicle refused to stop. The driver was identified and the deputy applied for a warrant for the driver`s arrest. A case report was later completed
On 7/28/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a residence for a disturbance in progress. The situation calmed down and parties were separated. During the course of the investigation, a counterfeit $100 bill was located on scene and confiscated.
On 7/28/21, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the 100 block of Main Street for a report of a property damage only motor vehicle crash. A case report was later completed.
On 7/28/21, a Gilpin County deputy found a license plate in the 4300 block of the Central City Parkway. The license plate was taken for safekeeping until the owner could be located. A case report was later completed.
On 7/28/21, Gilpin County Deputies responded to a disturbance off Highway 119. One male party was arrested on several charges.
On 7/29/21, a Gilpin County Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Eureka and Main St, Central City in reference to a vehicle observed driving with no attached front license plate. A clearance through NCIC/CCIC revealed both the driver and passenger had an active warrant, both parties were taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.
On 7/30/21, a Gilpin County deputy took a report by phone of a possible harassment that had occurred previously in the 1000 block of Mountain Meadows Drive. It was determined no crime had been committed and a case report was later completed
On 7/31/21, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a dog bite issue located at 1252 Karlann Dr. While en-route, the deputy was advised parties involved were arguing but later separated. A report was completed.
