On 4/1/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to Upper Travis Gulch Rd, Black Hawk, for a 911 investigation. A report was completed.
On 4/2/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a property damage accident at a residence off Highway 72.
On 4/2/20, a Gilpin County deputy located an active warrant for a current inmate in the Gilpin County Jail. The inmate was booked in to the jail without any incidents.
On 4/10/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a cold assault which occurred in the 100 Block of Kirkwood Way. A report was taken.
On 4/12/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the area of Paradise Valley Parkway and Highway 119 on a report of a smoke sighting. A report was completed on a fire ban violation.
On 4/13/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a single motor vehicle accident in the area of the 700 block of Central City Parkway. The driver was cited for careless driving, and a report was completed.
On 4/14/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on the Central City Parkway. No injuries were reported and the driver was issued a penalty assessment.
On 4/15/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to an in-progress disturbance off South Beaver Creek Road, on the report of a male party claiming to have shot his father with a gun. A report was completed and no one was injured.
On 4/16/20, a Gilpin County deputy contacted someone with active warrants that the deputy could not arrest because of COVID restrictions.
On 4/19/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a welfare check on Pisgah Lake Rd in Gilpin County. It was reported that parties had their vehicles stuck in the snow. The parties were found safe.
On 4/19/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the 48 block of Aspen Road on a suspicious incident. A case report was completed.
On 4/22/20, Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office took a report from a female resident regarding her license plate missing.
On 4/22/20, a Gilpin County deputy took a cold burglar report. Upon arrival the residence was searched but no suspects were found. Entry had been made into the residence, but the owner lives out of state. Nothing appeared to have been taken. A report was made.
On 4/22/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a report of a dog complaint. A summons was issued and a report was completed.
On 4/23/20, a Gilpin County deputy took a report of a burglary at a residence on Paint Brush Dr.
On 4/23/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched on a violation of protection order in Rollinsville. The reporting party was contacted and a report was made. An arrest warrant will be obtained for the violator.
On 4/24/20, a Gilpin County deputy found a stolen vehicle at mile marker 2.4 on the Central City Parkway. A case report was later completed.
On 4/26/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to the 1000 block of Columbine Campground Road on a report of an unlawful act in violation of a Public Health Order.
On 4/26/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to a shooting complaint near mile marker 11.5 on Highway 119. Three parties were located and a report was later completed in regards to criminal charges of Possession of Weapons by Previous Offender.
On 4/26/20, Gilpin County deputies assisted Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office on locating and arresting a suspect.
On 4/27/20, a Gilpin County deputy was dispatched to the area of the 3200 block of Bald Mountain Road on a report of ATV`s being driven on the roadway. Two male parties were contacted and issued summonses for the violation. A report was completed.
On 4/27/20, Gilpin County deputies responded to an assault in progress. A report was completed.
On 4/28/20, a Gilpin County deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle in the area of Lump Gulch. One arrest was made and a report was completed for DUI.
On 4/29/20, a Gilpin deputy took a report of a license plate theft in the area of Gamble Gulch. No suspect information is available.
On 4/29/20, a Gilpin County deputy contacted someone with active warrants that could not be arrested due to COVID 19 restrictions.
On 4/30/20, a Gilpin County deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of Nevada Street and Nevadaville Rd. in Central City. The driver was arrested for DUI and a case report was later completed.
