The Gilpin County Board of County Commissioners, Sheriff’s Office, Timberline Fire Protection District and Gilpin Ambulance Authority urge all of our county residents and businesses to be wildfire aware and prepared to evacuate should our county have a fire during these very hot and dry times.
Following is information to 1) sign up for HyperReach, the 911 phone system that will alert you of a wildfire or other disaster; and 2) the Emergency Preparedness Guide to be sure you have your list of essential items and actions in case of evacuation.
