Effective April 1st, 2021 due to a known positive COVID-19 exposure, the Gilpin County Old Courthouse located at 203 Eureka St., Central City, CO will be closed with a tentative reopening date of April 7th. County remote services will continue with the exception of the Clerk and Recorder/Motor Vehicles and Records Research which will tentatively reopen on the 7th.
Any person, including employees, that visited the courthouse Monday March 29th through March 31st, should quarantine and be tested between day five and seven of your visit, even if you get a negative COVID-19 test please continue to monitor for symptoms for a full fourteen days. If symptoms appear please seek another test.
