GILPIN COUNTY – The Gilpin RE-1 school district Board of Education met on February 4, 2025 to approve the 2025/2026 calendar and salary schedules. The Board also approved on first reading changes to graduation requirements.
The changes to the graduation requirements policy followed the restructuring of the school day. The Board unanimously approved the policy changes on first reading.
The 2025/2026 school year calendar was unanimously approved on second reading. The first day of school will be August 13, 2025, and the last day of school will be May 28, 2026.
The Board also approved on second reading the different salary schedules for the 2025/2026 school year.
The next RE-1 school board meeting will be on February 18, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the school board meeting room.
