Michele Roussel, Gilpin County. I can’t thank our artists and our community enough for coming out to support the Gilpin Arts Association on Saturday, August 17, for our annual Members’ show and our second Members’ opening reception.

We have an amazing community who came to support our Colorado artists and our association. I was very pleased with the amount of people who turned out, the positive energy, and wonderful atmosphere and I can say a good time was had by all. We made quite a few sales for the opening and everyone departed with a smile.

I am looking forward to more successful events like this as we continue to go forward in continuing our mission and the legacy of this very unique historic art gallery. Mayor Jeremy Fey said, “a great success for the City and the County”.
Gilpin Arts has a beautiful eclectic collection on exhibit that will be on display and available for purchase. A colorful array of art work ranging from photography to ceramics, oil and acrylic paintings along with pastels and mixed medias and a beautiful selection of original jewelry for all style preferences. Gilpin Arts is the perfect place to shop for all your original gift needs.
