Virginia Unseld, Nederland. The October art exhibit at Salto in Nederland is entitled water, water and will feature paintings of water in various media. All profits from the sale of paintings will be donated to the American Red Cross Bahamas relief fund.
“This exhibit has been planned for months and when Hurricane Dorian struck the Bahamas, it seemed the proper thing to do to use this event to help those in need,” explained artist Virginia Unseld. The paintings in this exhibit are inspired by Colorado but also by places around the world, China, Croatia, Alaska, and Greece.
The opening reception is October 4 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with live music by Brandon Harris from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. So, purchase a painting and help the folks in the Bahamas at the same time. Checks and cash sales only.
