Dr. Charles Smith, Peak to Peak. Jess Schmeling might be a tiny lady in stature but her heart and energy match that of any giant.

Jess hosted the Peak to Peak Actors Studio Fundraiser last Saturday with the support of Knotted Root Brewing Nederland. The support of her friends was simply amazing to witness, and the atmosphere provided by her musician friends, as well as setting up and organizing the silent auction items, was a labor of love from all who know Jess.
Jess is a powerhouse as an actress and has recently turned her attention from performing onstage to teaching. She is finishing her first Peak to Peak Players at the Stables Basic Acting Technique class and has started the process to develop additional classes for our communities young and aspiring actors.
There were numerous silent auction items available to bid from supporting organizations, and the band started up about an hour into the event. Knotted Pine Brewery was a wonderful venue for this event. Chibby Wibbetz food truck was just outside and offered delicious food items to purchase. Did I mention that it was 50 degrees and sunny?
It was a wonderful success, and everyone had a great time.
Peak to Peak Players at the Stables are planning on their first night of Karaoke Saturday, November 16th from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., 113 Eureka Street in Central City.
Willy Wonka, Jr. opens on November 22nd and 23rd at the Gilpin School. The two dozen students are starting their final rehearsals for this family friendly musical.
Peak to Peak Players want to sincerely than all who assisted Jess with the fund raiser.
We thank you for your support throughout our community.
