Idaho Springs is booming, and the businesses of Idaho Springs know the challenges and excitement we have faced this summer! Our town has become a hot spot for outdoor summer activity, and we want to give back to our community! Sales tax revenue in Idaho Springs is up significantly and we appreciate the support of our community, and visitors. We are beyond grateful for their patience and support, so we are giving back by throwing a town party featuring the extremely popular Rapidgrass. In years past the Rapidgrass music festival has been a staple 3-day music event in Idaho Springs. This year we are able to bring back Rapidgrass as a FREE one-day town party, August 1st 3pm-10pm. Entry is free. We are asking for school supply donations or a non-perishable food item. Tickets will be available for food, and drinks. All proceeds will go to Carlson Elementary to finish the playground project as well as to the Historical Society of Idaho Springs.
Beau Jo’s pizza and their exciting new food truck will be hanging out. Tommy Knockers will be serving their delicious beer and some other tasty drinking choices!
