Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Mark Cohen to serve on Colorado’s Combative Sports Commission – formerly the Colorado Boxing Commission.
Cohen, who lived in Nederland for twenty-one years and still writes a column for The Mountain-Ear, hopes to use his martial arts experience and legal background to help the Commission fulfill its mission.
The Commission is responsible for all rules to regulate the conduct, promotion and performance of boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts in Colorado.
