Dear Editor,
International Folk Dancing is returning to Nederland beginning Monday, September 13, 2021.
Amazingly, dancing is now free, thanks to the generosity of Mountain Peak Life!!!
Dances will be held, as before, in the Nederland Community Center (NCC) studio on Mondays from 7 - 9 p.m. (Note: the main community center doors will be locked by 7:15 p.m. A notice will be posted on the front door with a phone number for you to call to be let in).
Tom Masterson will continue as our expert instructor and will provide teaching for the dances.
-No experience or partner is required.
-Please bring soft, clean-soled shoes that won’t mark the lovely studio floor for dancing.
-You must be vaccinated.
-Because of the physical activity and proximity of dancing which significantly raises the risk of exposure, you must show proof of vaccination at the studio the first time you come, no excuses. Thereafter, your name will be on a list and proof won’t be required.
-If the CDC later requires masks in public places, masks will be required by the NCC as well.
Please RSVP to Janna Butler at janna.butler@gmail.com by the previous Sunday if you intend to come so we can be assured there will be enough dancers to warrant Tom’s drive up from Boulder.
Spread the Word!
