As a nurse, I have seen how good and bad nutrition changes lives. To me, prevention is everything. “Prescribing fruits and veggies would save $100 billion in medical costs,” (Tufts University, March, 2019).
For many of us getting the nutrition we need is harder than ever. Ninety percent of Americans do not eat the recommended 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. The quality of the food we eat is greatly diminished from what our grandparents ate. As a child we had a very limited selection of fruits and vegetables this time of year. Now we have items that are not locally grown and even shipped in from other countries. Once an item is picked and is no longer getting its nutrients from the sun and the soil, it will still ripen but it does not continue to improve the quality of its nutrients. “Some varieties have lost 5% to a whopping 40% of their nutrient content.” Journal of Horticulture Science. Our bodies require large amounts of macronutrients to be healthy and energetic. MD Anderson Cancer Center advises a plant-based diet can lower your risk for cancer.
I enjoy using Palisade peaches as an example. If you have ever tasted a Palisade peach that was picked at the peak of ripeness you know what I mean. As you bite into something so delicious you know what it means to be tree ripened. No comparison to a California peach that you found hard as a rock in the grocery store; it sits on the counter to ripen, you finally got to take a bite and it has little flavor or nutrients.

Research affiliations from Georgetown University to the University of Cambridge have researched and published their findings on the benefits of this product. Public Health Benefits by the University of Padua/University of Colorado just to mention one study on the way to be published in the near future.
My physician of 25 years recommended this product. As a nurse I was exposed to all kinds of illnesses that would race through the hospital causing many sick calls. You can wash your hands a hundred times a day but you cannot always control the air you breathe. Back then we didn’t wear masks all day long unless working in the operating room or isolation. After six months of taking encapsulated fruits and vegetables I found I was no longer getting sick and I had more energy. I have seen many other health benefits as has my family.
Decreased inflammation is one of the biggest benefits I have experienced. Inflammation is the root cause of many chronic conditions. Arthritis, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, asthma, cancer and auto immune disorders to name a few.
Supplements are something most have in their homes. My physician has said that when you take a supplement your body does not know what to do with most of the supplement. It uses a little and the rest ends up in the toilet. When you get your nutrients from whole food nutrition, the synergistic effect between the food and your body cannot be duplicated.
The human cell is hit about 10,000 times a day by mutagenic oxidants. We are bombarded by environmental toxins along with many other things like decreased food quality that affect our cells. The phytonutrients and antioxidants found in fruits, vegetables and berries are your best defense. We know apples are good for us. There are thousands of phytonutrients in an apple and you cannot create those benefits; it has to come from Mother Nature.
