Dear Editor,
A little hummingbird told us this winter could be early and rough! We are deeply grateful to all the volunteers who have turned out to help process firewood for Gilpin households who will likely need more wood than usual this winter. Gilpin Axe & Snax (mentored by the folks at Coal Creek Saws and Slaws) has already processed and delivered over 12 cords of wood to nine households and the list of those in need is growing.
Many of our volunteers are the same who helped us produce more than 5,000 masks for the Mountain Mask Project. If you’d like to help, look us up on Facebook or email us at axeandsnacks@gmail.com. Thank you!!
