On 2/1/18 an officer responded to the intersection of Highway 119 and Main Street on a report of a traffic accident. There were no injuries, a report was taken.

On 2/1/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a stolen backpack. During the investigation, an officer recovered the backpack and personal items, however, two Apple iPads were missing from the bag. A suspect was identified, and a report was taken.

On 2/1/18 at approximately 5:48 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino, first floor holding room, on a reported theft of a credit card. A male was cited for possession of a stolen financial device.

On 2/1/18 an officer conducted a welfare check at the Mardi Gras Casino. The party was taken into custody for a warrant.

On 2/1/18 at approximately 5:17 p.m., officers responded to the Isle Casino, hotel room #756, on found drugs. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 2/4/18 at approximately 12:29 a.m., officers responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of theft of a tablet.

On 2/2/18 an officer responded to the 300 block on Main Street for a welfare check. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Gilpin County Jail.

On 2/2/18 an officer took a report of a lost phone. The victim’s information was taken, and report was filed.

On 2/2/18 an officer responded to a 911 call at the Ameristar Casino for a lost phone. A report was taken.

On 2/3/18 officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino parking garage regarding a hit and run traffic accident. Suspect information was obtained.

On 2/3/18 at approximately 9:51 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a found wallet.

On 2/3/18 at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle associated with a known warrant not displaying license plates. A male driver was issued a County summons and the vehicle was towed.

On 2/4/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar Casino regarding found drugs. The items were submitted for destruction.

On 2/4/18 officers were flagged down by a patron regarding found property. The property was collected and tagged.

On 2/4/18 at approximately 5:28 a.m., officers responded to the area of mile marker 7 on highway 199 on the report of a male party who had stolen alcohol bottles from the bar at the Ameristar Casino. The suspect was later transported to Gilpin County jail without incident.

On 2/4/18 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar valet, on the report of a hit and run accident. The case is under further investigation.

On 2/5/18 a found wallet was turned in to an officer at the Black Hawk Police Department. A report was taken.

On 2/5/18 at approximately 10:48 p.m., officers responded to the Lodge Casino on a report of a stolen sweater jacket. Two suspects were identified and issued a summons for theft.

On 2/7/18 an officer responded to the Wild Card Casino on the report of a criminal trespass. The party was transported to the Gilpin County Jail, and a summons was issued.

On 2/7/18 an officer responded to the Z Casino on a report of a lost cell phone. A report was taken.

On 2/8/18 an officer stopped a Ford Ranger for not having a front plate. The rear plate showed that it had expired 12/2017. The driver stated that the plate belonged to her Chevrolet and she was aware that she wasn’t supposed to trade plates. The driver had purchased the Ford in June 2017, but failed to obtain valid registration. The plate was seized, and the driver was issued a summons.

On 2/8/18 an officer responded to the Isle Casino on the report of a criminal trespass. The party was issued a summons.

On 2/8/18 a party walked into the Black Hawk Police Department to report a theft of a cellphone. A report was taken.

On 2/8/18 an officer responded to the Ameristar garage on a report of a hit and run. No injuries were reported, and a suspect has been identified.

On 2/9/18 officers responded to a traffic accident on private property in the Ameristar Parking Garage. A report was taken.

On 2/9/18 an officer responded to the 400 block of Gregory Street on the report of damaged property. There is no suspect information.

On 2/9/18 at approximately 2:30 p.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of fraudulent bill that was passed in the table games area. A suspect was identified.

On 2/10/18 officers were dispatched to the Ameristar hotel regarding a domestic violence incident. A suspect was taken into custody.

On 2/10/18 an officer responded to a phone theft at the Isle Casino gaming floor. The suspect was issued a summons and arrested on warrants.

On 2/19/18 at approximately 12:18 p.m. an officer responded to the Red Dolly Casino on a report of a party who had a warrant. The party was located and arrested.

On 2/20/18 at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 400 Block of Main Street on a report of a male party run over by a vehicle. The driver had fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was located, and the victim was treated for injuries.

On 2/19/18 at approximately 11:47 p.m. officers responded to the Ameristar Casino hotel for a report of an intoxicated male. The male was placed into protective custody and transported to the Jefferson center for mental health and booked into detox.

On 2/20/18 I received a telephone call to assist the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office with a counterfeit check case. The Castle Pines Golf Club was the victim of a fraud in that someone had counterfeited their checks, one of which was cashed in Black Hawk.

On 2/22/18 at approximately 8:30 a.m., an officer responded to the Monarch Casino on the report of damaged property that occurred on 02/18/2018. There is suspect information.

On 2/23/18 officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Bobtail at Gregory. The driver was found to be wanted and was taken into custody.

On 0/23/18 at approximately 11:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino for found drugs. The suspect was identified and taken into custody.

On 2/24/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a theft. A suspect has been identified.

On 2/24/18 at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the Ameristar Casino parking garage on the report of a female acting aggressively towards staff after acting strangely next to a vehicle. A female party was taken into protective custody and transported by ambulance. The owner of the vehicle the female was associated with was later contacted and taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

On 2/24/18 at approximately 11:47 a.m., an officer responded to the Ameristar Casino on a report of a found gun. The gun was booked into evidence.

On 2/24/18 an officer responded to the Monarch Casino regarding a trespass. The suspect was identified, and a report taken.

On 2/25/18 at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers responded to 401 Main Street on a report of jewelry theft. A report was taken regarding the incident.

On 2/25/18 officers responded to the Ameristar Casino on the report of an intoxicated party driving. The party was contacted at the Isle Casino and taken into custody for DUI.

On 2/25/18 officers responded to the Isle Casino on the report of damaged property. A municipal summons was issued.

On 02/26/18 an officer was dispatched to the Isle Casino & Hotel for a custody issue.

On 2/26/18 an officer was dispatched to the Ameristar Casino on the report of a party trespassing. He was contacted and released on a county summons for trespass.

On 2/27/18 an officer took a phone report on a lost wallet. The wallet was lost last Friday evening.

On 2/27/18 at approximately 9:38 a.m., an officer responded to Mill and Main Street on a report of a party yelling at people.

On 2/28/18 at approximately 11:20 p.m., an officer responded to the Saratoga Casino on the report of found drugs. There is no suspect information

On 2/28/18 an officer responded to the Lodge Casino on the report of a theft. There is no suspect information.

On 2/28/18 at approximately 8:50 p.m., an officer responded to the Isle Casino on a report of a missing juvenile staying in a hotel room. Upon contact it was discovered that one of the parties had an outstanding warrant.
