I am writing to endorse Kristopher Larsen for a Nederland Board of Trustees seat in the April 2 election.

It has been widely acknowledged that this election results will have a critical and pivotal effect on Nederland’s future. How Nederland will look, how it will be developed and how and if we retain our unique diverse mountain town culture will be decided by who we vote into the BOT on April 2.

I strongly believe in order to accomplish smart development that allows Nederland to retain our Ned-ness that a vote for Kristopher Larsen is imperative. Kris’ institutional memory from his former service on the BOT and from his terms as Nederland’s mayor will be instrumental and is invaluable as we move forward to make smart, fair, balanced, sustainable, and systemic change.

During his past BOT terms he was consistently available for respectful discussion and proactive problem solving. Kris is unbiased, transparent and will not just rubber stamp any future development project. Like many of us Kris wants SMART and sustainable development. Kris has the experience and ability to be a support to Mayor Billy Giblin.
