Eldora Opens for the 2013-2014 Season Friday
November 20, 2013- Eldora Mountain Resort opens for the winter season on
Friday, November 22nd. Challenge/Cannonball lifts will serve top to bottom
skiing on intermediate trails Hornblower and International on a 20" base of
packed powder and machine made snow. Lifts will operate from 9am to 4pm, 7
days a week.
More snow and cold weather moving in to the area Wednesday afternoon should
allow more terrain to open very soon.
Eldora's early season lift tickets rates will be: Adult (16-64) $59, Junior
(6-15) $29, Senior (65+) $29, Child (5 & under) $12. Eldora Alpine 4 Packs
are still available for a limited time only for $169.
Eldora will offer limited lessons, equipment rentals and food and beverage
service for opening day. Only private lessons will be available to begin the
season. "Eldora is pleased to start off the winter season with great
conditions," says spokesman Rob Linde. "Join us this weekend at Eldora and
celebrate the opening of the 2013-2014 ski season."
