The championship event is what all the skiers strive for throughout the season and competing is always more exciting when the kids know they have a bunch of fans at the finish, and maybe some cowbells along the way.

The Panthers have a great chance to stand on the podium on Friday and the weather is supposed to be far nicer than it has been in the past couple weeks.

Hosting the state championships happens only once in a couple of decades, so get out and enjoy the races.
