Sam Bass, Eldora Mountain Resort. Eldora is excited to announce opening and closing dates for the 2019/20 winter season. Eldora is scheduled to open for skiing and riding on Friday, November 15, 2019, and close on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

“Coming off a record season and productive summer, we’re thrilled to announce that Eldora’s winter season will start on November 15, 2019, a full week earlier than our typical opening,” says Brent Tregaskis, Eldora’s President and General Manager. “We’re also excited to introduce improvements that will definitely enhance our guests’ experiences here at Eldora. This will be another amazing season. Bring on the snow!”

Eldora staffers have been working hard this summer on many resort improvements designed to support an array of unique, crafted guest experiences. For the 2019/20 winter season, guests can expect to see upgrades to the rental and retail shops and improvements in the food and beverage departments. Eldora has been working on developing the Woodward Terrain Park. There have also been sustainability improvements made at Eldora.

Eldora is the only ski area served by RTD with regular bus service from downtown Boulder straight to the high-speed Alpenglow chairlift and back. Eldora strongly encourages RTD ridership and carpooling as part of its Play Forever sustainability initiative.

All parking at Eldora during the 2019/20 winter season will be free. For important information regarding travelling to and parking at Eldora, please visit Eldora.com/plan-your-trip/getting-here.
