GILPIN COUNTY - The 12th Annual Gilpin County Education Foundation Scholarship Dinner will take place on Saturday, April 26, at the Ameristar Casino & Resort.
This special evening helps the Foundation support graduating seniors as they pursue higher education, whether at a university, technical school, or community college.
Since 2012, thanks to generous supporters from the area, we have awarded over $97,500 in scholarships to Gilpin County students.
Enjoy a delicious three-course meal (all dietary restrictions accommodated) and wine, while celebrating education and student success. Thanks to Ameristar’s generous support, the Foundation is able to keep ticket prices the same as last year. Plus, if you purchase your tickets before April 8, you will receive $10 off with the early bird rate.
Event Highlights:
Keynote Speaker: Justin Gold –Justin originally launched Justin’s Nut Butters in 2004, selling his products at Boulder Farmers Markets. His company quickly grew when he became the only company in the US selling single-serve packets of organic nut butters. In 2016, he sold his company for millions of dollars and now serves to support other organic food companies.
Student Speaker: Jordanna Gagnon – A 2024 Gilpin High School graduate and scholarship recipient, now studying psychology and neuroscience at CSU, who will share how the scholarship has impacted her education.
