The Golden Gate Auxiliary of Colorado, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting theVolunteer Firefighters of the Golden Gate Fire Protection District, is excited to announce its annual Pig Roast is on for Saturday, October 1, 2022! This yearly event provides a fun and fantastic way for the community to support its volunteer firefighters. Funds raised from this event help provide essential equipment for the brave and dedicated volunteer firefighters who diligently protect the mountain homes and wildlands within the Golden Gate region.

The Pig Roast dinner offers tantalizing BBQ, delicious side dishes, and delectable homemade desserts to hungry attendees. Dinner prices are $15 for adults and children 11+ years old and $10 for children between 4-10 years old. (Meals for children aged 3 and under are free.) Great news – the Golden Gate Auxiliary’s traditional silent auction is also on the docket! Some of the fantastic items up for auction this year include a half-day guided fly fishing trip, an inflatable raft, art from prominent area artists, ski jackets, pet supplies, gift cards, and merchandise from regional shops, restaurants, and breweries.
