Colder weather means your tummy can use a warm treat, but we don’t always have the time to make meals from scratch. Here’s one that mostly requires heating and putting together.
Ingredients:
1 can of your favorite vegetable soup
1 pound of ground elk
1 packet of McCormick’s taco seasoning
1 can of black beans
1 avocado
A pinch of parsley
Tortilla wraps or tortilla chips
Instructions:
1. Cook the ground elk in a pan. When the meat only has about 3 minutes left of cooking time, add a small amount of water and mix in the seasoning. Set it on warm and let it sit.
2. Heat the soup.
3. Heat the black beans.
4. Mix: When all the food is cooked, add them to one Tupperware, and gently mix.
5. Cut the avocado into slices, and sprinkle parsley to taste.
6. Serve: Place avocado on a plate, and fill a tortilla wrap or enjoy as a dip with tortilla chips.
