Eagle boys win two on road

In the past week, the Gilpin High School Eagles won two games, giving them a 7-8 record for the season. On Thursday, February 1, 2018, they traveled to Nederland and beat the Panthers, 46-12 and on Saturday they traveled to South Park where they squeezed in a 57-41 victory.

On Thursday, coach Paul Hanson put some of the bench on the court, spreading the points around on the floor. Austin Boulter was high scorer with 10 points.

Nolan Lindberg: 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks

On Saturday, February 3, the Eagles went to South Park where they hung onto a halftime lead of eight points to bring home the 47-41 win. Austin Boulter had a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Tanner Davis was high scorer with 18 points including two three-pointers.
