TEENS, Inc. is fortunate to call Eldora Mountain Resort (www.eldora.com) a partner in impacting the lives of young people throughout the Colorado Front Range. While Eldora has always helped TEENS, Inc. by donating goods for events, over the last couple years our relationship and their commitment to youth has grown considerably. Here is how:

Over the last month, Eldora has provided a day pass, rental gear and lessons to thirteen students from TEENS, Inc.’s Chinook West High School. These students have never skied or snowboarded and without Eldora’s generosity, they would have never been able to get on the slopes.

One student said, “I was nervous but am now so proud of myself for going for it!”

Each of the last five summers, Eldora has lent us, at no cost, two twelve-passenger vans for TEENS, Inc. to use. These vans save TEENS, Inc. $6,000 and are used by our TeamWorks program that hires 70 youth from differing backgrounds throughout the Front Range to perform conservation related projects. Instead of paying for these vans from a rental company, we now provide training in diversity, equity and inclusion in the outdoors to all participants and crew leaders.

Eldora was the premier sponsor of TEENS, Inc.’s annual running race, the Ned*Ned, in 2021.
