Discovering a social experience in Boulder

This past summer, a dear friend from Europe came to visit. We received an invitation to the grand opening media event of the Boulder Social: Eatery, Bar, and Brewery. Pizza, sushi, oysters, and various desserts were at our disposal. Though I most likely ate more than I should have, it was all well worth it.

Representatives from Tincup and Breckenridge Distillery offered samples of specialty cocktails, including Mountain Mule, Coco Fuego, and Breckenridge Basil Martini, along with Breckenridge Bourbon samples.

While enjoying the abundance of samples, I noticed how quickly everyone made friends and began to feel at home, making it clear that the name, Boulder Social, was a perfect fit. Their appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, fish options, and Colorado rustic pizzas are all reasons to eat here and hang out for a while.

It doesn’t end there, however. Happy Hour and Late Night Social Hour specials allow college students to eat pizza for 50% off, enjoy discounted plates, and enjoy $2 off most adult beverages. These specials run Sunday-Thursday, 8 p.m. to close, and Friday and Saturday, 9 p.m. to close. Bring your student ID.

Roughly 30 beers are on draft and will engage your taste buds. Most are from our colorful state, and we know everything tastes better when made with Rocky Mountain water. Who wants brunch? I do! On Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., various brunch plates and drinks are available for your eating pleasure.

The food and ambiance at Boulder Social prove that one place can have a little bit of everything and something for everyone. Got a sweet tooth? They’ve got you covered. Whether you’re on date night or want to bring the entire family, Boulder Social is the place.

Though I didn’t taste everything on the menu, what I did nibble on, spoke volumes about the quality of food, drinks, and service guests find at Boulder Social. The general manager, executive chef, and brewmaster spoke about their process, plans, and goals. Sorry, I’m not giving any of it away. You’ll have to visit them to find out what they’re up to.

The doors opened to the public on Sept. 15, 2022, at 6 p.m. with live music, games, and giveaways. It began to rain, and we called it a night. This same evening, a massive rainbow took hold of the sky. Between this earthly miracle and the wonderful experience at Boulder Social, it was the perfect way to end the day.
