BOULDER COUNTY - Artist David Jessup began and maintains his career as a gardener, but started to build his own planters 25 years ago.
He builds planters, water bowls, and sculptural pieces from a mixed media of cement and perlite. Jessup exhibits his work at the High Peaks Art Festival in Nederland every year.
While you can see his work on Facebook or Instagram by searching @greencollarguydesigns, the Studio Tour is the time to visit his studio at 9347 Sugarloaf Road outside of Boulder—because, Jessup says, “My studio is so sweet! I could almost live in it!” Who could resist?
