Barbara Lawlor, Nederland. Team colors splashed the Lyons cross country trails with maroon, white, navy blue, teal, gold and black as 240 boys streamed around the school paths and into the stadium for the finish.
It was a clear sunny day and it was up to four male runners to represent the Nederland team on Saturday—a couple of them who made their first varsity appearance. James McNamara was the first Ned finisher.

The girls entered only two runners, with Sophia Lindenberger taking the lead of the Ned team.
