Ted Garcia Art Gallery First Fridays: Food, drinks, painting demos, and fun! Whether you’re a local or just passing through this mountain town with a golden past, this one-man gallery is your new hidden gem. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 327 Gregory Street, Black Hawk. 


Vaccine Clinic: Be prepared for the upcoming flu season. 2 to 5:30 p.m., Gilpin County Community Center, 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.

Gilpin Artisan Market: Browse local artisan vendors and live music! 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gilpin County Community Center located at 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk. 


Movies with a Message:  Showing the “Manchurian Candidate," a political thriller from 1962. Light snacks and beverages provided. No admission fee. Everyone is welcome. Starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Gilpin County Library located at 15131 Highway 119, Black Hawk.

Harvest Market: The last Farmers Market of the year! Enjoy local beer, wine, and spirit vendors as well as additional artisan food and art vendors than our regular markets. There will be live music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as a pumpkin patch and chili roasting. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 80 East Second Street, Nederland.


Gilpin 4-H Open House: Ages 8 through 18. Meet current members, find out what projects suit you. Food will be provided. Contact: gilpinarchwood4h@gmail.com 4 to 6 p.m., 230 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.

Family Movie Matinee: Bring the kids for free popcorn and a movie as we watch the family friendly film “Bad Guys 2." 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Gilpin County Public Library located at 15131 Highway 119.

Kill the Keg Party: Join us for food, fun, and entertainment. Come say goodbye to Roy and Barb. Free buffet until it’s gone. Starts at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at 17268 Highway 119.
