Dear Editor,
The Colorado County Clerk’s Association (CCCA) has an established scholarship fund that helps aid outstanding high school seniors who are Colorado residents to further their education at any university, college, junior college or technical school.
Regional one-time scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1000 or $500. Students in all counties who meet the qualifications are eligible to enter.
I’d like to invite all qualified high school seniors to participate! All applications for Gilpin residents are due in my office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, and you can mail it in, drop it off at the Old Courthouse, or email it to me. A list of other County Clerk’s accepting applications, their contact information as well as the application itself, can be found at www.clerkandrecorder.org/scholarship. Winners will be announced on May 1, 2021.
Good luck!
