Dear Editor,
Christopher Kelly’s article last week was the best information I’ve received in regards to CenturyLink’s phone outage in the Nederland area. Not only was there a disruption of service in mid-September, but it has been ongoing since then with no resolution to the problem in sight. The online message I get is that “There is an outage in your area and we are working to restore service.”
I rely on my phone for my business, Top Coverage Roofing, and potential customers are unable to reach me directly or leave a message. This is usually our busiest time of year preceding winter, and thousands of dollars of income may have already been lost. I encourage anyone experiencing the same phone issue complain to CenturyLink with any means available to them.
In the meantime, Top Coverage Roofing may be reached at dave.gibson.images@gmail.com. Providing the mountain community with quality, dependable service for 40 years,
Dave Gibson
