You’re invited to help envision the future of Downtown Ned! Nederland is working on a Downtown Sub-Area Plan as part of the ongoing Comprehensive Plan Update and the planning team needs your input.

Join the Town, Downtown Development Authority, and Downtown Design Consultants to help guide future recommendations for public improvements, design standards, and guidelines for new development in Downtown Nederland. Attendees will have the chance to learn about previous recommendations and plans that have influenced Downtown and hear what other community members have said about Downtown in the latest online survey. They will also partake in design exercises to help build their visions for Downtown and ultimately define how the “Nederland Character” should influence future design proposals.

Please join us Wednesday, March 13, from 5-7 p.m. in the multipurpose room in the Nederland Community Center for a fun, hands-on opportunity to connect with fellow neighbors and the business community to establish a vision for the next 15-20 years. If you care about Downtown Nederland, you don’t want to miss this!

Light refreshments will be offered, and all ages are welcome.
