Dear Editor,
The Nederland community truly showed what it means to SHOW THE LOVE!
The recent NMSHS PTA SHOW THE LOVE fundraiser was a powerful reminder of how much this community cares about its schools, its students, and the people who make it all run. Thanks to the generosity of families, neighbors, and local businesses, the fundraiser not only met its goal—it exceeded it, raising $8,440, or 105% of what we set out to accomplish.
These funds will go directly back into our Nederland Middle-Senior High School supporting student scholarships and meaningful events like the Homecoming BBQ, Harvest Feast, Staff Appreciation, and After Prom. These are the moments that build connection, celebrate our students, and strengthen our school culture.
We would especially like to recognize and thank our incredible business sponsors for their generosity and commitment to our community: J Fitzer Electric, Tadasana Mountain Yoga, Good People Tree Service, Black Fox Mining, Hub Ned, Boulder Therapeutics, and 8z Real Estate. Their support plays a vital role in making opportunities like this possible, and we encourage our community to support them in return.
We would also like to congratulate our sweepstakes winner Shirley Sheeks and thank everyone who participated.
In a small mountain town, it takes all of us showing up for one another. This fundraiser is a reflection of that spirit, and we are so grateful to be part of such a supportive and engaged community.
Sincerely,
Panther Parents (PTA)
Nederland Middle-Senior High School
