On Friday, September 10, 2021, Climate Corp Colorado was launched at an AmeriCorps service site, outside Nederland. The corps is a climate team that not only addresses climate change, but focuses on the Governor’s goal of migrating Colorado’s transmission network to 100% renewable resources and protecting the environment by 2040.
Among the participants were Lieutenant Governor Diane Primavera and Congressman Joe Neguse, members of AmeriCorps, members of Serve Colorado and more! As well as local Mayor Kris Larsen and homeowners Karina and Marcus Luscher.
