Barbara Lawlor, Nederland. According to Boulder Office of Emergency Management there was active firefighting activity is still going on in the areas near Cold Springs, Ridge Road, and Boulder Canyon Rd. near Barker Reservoir, and those areas remain closed to all traffic.
At 11:26am a dispatch notification was just sent to residents in the Magnolia area that the mandatory evacuation order for that area only has been lifted.
Magnolia Road will open at 11:30 a.m. from Boulder Canyon Road to Peak to Peak Highway, unrestricted.
Boulder Canyon from Sugarloaf Road to the Town of Nederland remains closed.
Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for subdivisions east of the Peak-to-Peak highway, north of Boulder Canyon and south of Sugarloaf Road.
Residents returning to homes in the Magnolia area will need to contact their utility provider to restart services if their services were turned off.
Sugarloaf Road is open and unrestricted when entering from Peak to Peak (residents may need ID/proof of residents when entering from Boulder Canyon). The Peak to Peak Highway (SH72), has been reopened to all vehicle traffic in both directions.

From Nederland Town Hall:
The fire size is down to 566 acres. They are still saying 0% contained. However, they are officially saying that they are in "Mop Up" stage. A lot of rocks have been coming down in the canyon due to fire fighting efforts, so it is still too unsafe to reopen.
Community Meetings:
There will be a daily community meeting at Nederland High School at 1pm to update local people on the fire. Please enter the High School gymnasium from the outside doors near the east/ back parking lot.
Community Healing Gathering:
Tonight, Tuesday, July 12 at 7pm there will be a community gathering and potluck dinner at Nederland High School. Please attend. The Nederland BOT, members of the Incident Team, residents and volunteers will be there. All are welcome to attend this community gathering. Bring a dish to share if you are able.

Volunteer:
Those seeking to volunteer should not show up at the evacuation centers and shelters or go to the scene of the disaster. The arrival of unexpected volunteers will interfere with response efforts. Volunteers will be needed most during the recovery phase in the days and weeks to come. Volunteers should go to
http://helpcoloradonow.org/index.php/volunteering-mod and complete the form to begin receiving an e-newsletter with regular updates on volunteer needs related to the Cold Springs Fire.
