Whispering Pines Church in Coal Creek Canyon hosted the annual Coal Creek Canyon Holiday Market on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.
The market featured over 25 local artists. They had loads of wonderful arts and crafts, paintings and ceramics, clothing, leather work, dog toys, treatments and supplements, Adeline’s Salsa, pesto, massage, polished rocks, bird houses, essential oils, jams, and jellies. Canyon Coffee was there selling coffee and goodies. It was a time to celebrate local artists, crafters, and makers.
Holly Jacobs organized the event, along with Barbara Mills and Jill Nazimec. She said that this is the first time they have had the Holiday Market at the church. The Coal Creek Canyon Community Association Hall did not have enough space, so Whispering Pine Church said they can host this as an outreach. The church would like to say “Merry Christmas” to all.
As of noon on Saturday, the event had been visited by about 500 people. This very popular local event brings the holiday spirit to our hearts and supports small local businesses.
