Dear Editor,
We have a unique opportunity here in the Boulder County Commissioner race this year. We have a candidate, Cinda Kochen, who lives right here in our Sugarloaf neighborhood. She has lived with her family near the 9-mile marker on Sugarloaf for many years. All the other candidates either live in the City of Boulder or out on the flatlands someplace. This has been the situation for many years.
Cinda would be able to bring first-hand knowledge of the unique requirements of the foothills to the discussions and decisions that the commissioners are required to handle. With Cinda’s training and experience in the field of education, she has developed a tenacious capability of finding all the facts and data available prior to making decisions.
Cinda is not a career politician so she would not be burdened with past political commitments. She would be bringing a fresh approach to the Commission.
Let’s take advantage of this unique opportunity and help our community by giving Cinda Kochen your vote this year.

Your friend and neighbor,
Jim Hubbard
