Seraph Brooks Kelly attended Nederland Elementary School and has been a student at Chinook West High School since 2021. Her fondest memories from elementary school include going ice skating with Ms. Mary, track and field days with friends, and building a dream house with Ms. Forrest.
While focusing vehemently on her academics, Seraph has also been working at Crosscut Pizzeria in Nederland, as well as the Eldora Mountain Resort. She’s passionate about music, art, and traveling.
What Seraph has loved about high school is the “effort that Chinook puts into helping students succeed. I feel supported and driven to become my best self and reach my full potential.”
For Seraph, Chinook West is the best high school she’s had the pleasure of attending. “The school actually cares about the student’s well-being and their education,” shares Seraph. Her favorite classes include math, language arts, and film class.
It was challenging for Seraph to choose a favorite teacher. She says, “I appreciate all of the staff and teachers who have helped me throughout my high school career.” The advice she offers future Chinook students is “keep your head up and persevere.”
After graduation, Seraph plans to travel through Europe and potentially attend college after traveling. She is going to miss the field trips, friends, and fun she had in high school. She also enjoyed spending a year of high school with her two younger brothers.
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation and good luck!
