Child care subsidy for qualifying families

Posted

Dear Editor,

Child care is a costly expense for families especially when starting a new job, but there is a program that can help Clear Creek and Gilpin residents pay for care. Triad Early Childhood Council is excited to announce funding made possible by The Colorado Department of Early Childhood Community Innovation and Resilience for Care and Learning Equity (CIRCLE) grant program. This program will assist families by providing a 3-month child care subsidy. All licensed and registered providers who are or will be caring for recipients’ children are able to participate with 100% of the cost being covered in the first month, 75% in the second month, and 50% in the third month.

To be eligible for subsidy, families can’t qualify for CCCAP and must have recently started a job or training program. Due to the nature of the grant funding, priority will be given to parents or guardians who have started a new job, school or training program within the last 3 months. Guidance finding childcare is available.

Triad Early Childhood Council is currently accepting applications, please visit triadecc.org for more information.
