Chapel in the Hills engages Coal Creek residents

For over 65 years, the Chapel in the Hills has called Coal Creek Canyon home. Originally founded as a Bible study, inevitably, it turned into the first community church of Coal Creek Canyon.

The church’s mission is to live and lead others into a Christ-centered life by being Scripture-Saturated, Relationship-Driven, and Missions-Motivated, to make much of Christ. Dr. Todd W. Fletcher, from Phoenix, Arizona, is the chapel’s preaching pastor. He has been with the ministry for nine years, where he teaches the Bible verse-by-verse.

Chapel in the Hills offers programs for all ages, including a Tuesday night youth group, Monday Bible Study for Women at 10 a.m., Tuesday Programs for the Whole Family from 6-7:30 p.m., and Wednesday Bible Study for Men from 6-7:30 p.m.

Children 0 to 10 years old can participate in the church’s Sunday School programs during Sunday services. The church is not only dedicated to the teachings of the Bible but is involved in the Coal Creek Canyon community in other ways.

The church often gives to Canyon Cares, a Coal Creek organization serving residents by providing shortterm financial assistance. The Chapel in the Hills offers Sunday Services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Special services coming up will take place on Good Friday at 7 p.m. when the congregation can partake in the pastor’s favorite holiday to preach and share the Gospel with others.

Chapel in the Hills is located at 29579 Coal Creek Canyon Road, Golden. You can find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/chapelinthehills.colorado or give them a call at 303-642-3130.
